The Blood-Stained Legacy of Donald Trump

The one thing that is certain about Donald J. Trump is that for better or worse, his legacy as the 45th president will be cemented into American history and forever etched into the minds of those of us who are still alive to witness it unfold.

Even when viewing things in the best possible light, it is undeniable that Trump’s turn at the helm of state was marred by turmoil, strife, incompetence and pure chaos.

For example, in what could have been a defining moment of his presidency, Trump withheld vital information he received from Chinese leader Xi Jinping, about the nature and severity of SARS-CoV-2:

“It goes through air, Bob. That’s always tougher than the touch. You know, the touch — you don’t have to touch things, right? But the air — you just breathe the air. That’s how it’s passed.
